Fluodrop

Fluodrop is an eye solution based on fluorescein that helps detect damage to the cornea in pets. This veterinary dye is specially suited for dogs, cats, horses, and exotic animals. Fluorescein does not stain the healthy cornea but highlights corneal damage (corneal defects) in bright green. Any foreign particles in the eye become visible as a green ring, making diagnosis easier.

This diagnostic solution is a valuable tool for veterinarians when examining eye injuries. Thanks to the rapid staining, conditions can be quickly detected and treated. Fluodrop is easy to apply and safe to use across various animal species.

Application

Apply 1 to 2 drops directly into the animal’s eye. The dye spreads across the surface of the eye and immediately reveals any damage.

Dosage

• Standard dosage: 1–2 drops per eye.
• For single use only – reuse is not recommended.

Composition

• Fluorescein (as sodium salt): 1.5 mg
• Excipients up to 0.4 ml

Instructions and Storage

• Always read the package leaflet before use.
• Store at room temperature (15–25 °C).
• Use immediately after opening – do not store or reuse.
