Frontpro

Frontpro chewable tablets for dogs can be used to combat ticks and fleas:

• For the treatment of tick infestations in dogs (Dermacentor reticulatus, Ixodes ricinus, Ixodes
  hexagonus, Rhipicephalus sanguineus). One treatment provides immediate and sustained tick
  killing action for one month. Fleas and ticks must attach to the host and feed to be exposed to the active ingredient.
• For the treatment of flea infestations in dogs (Ctenocephalides felis and C. canis). One treatment provides immediate and sustained flea-killing action for 5 weeks.

Frontpro Dosage

Frontpro contains the active ingredient Afoxolaner and should be administered orally at a dosage of 2.7–7 mg/kg body weight, according to the following table:

Use an appropriate combination of chewable tablets of different/same strength for dogs over 50 kg body weight. Tablets should not be divided.

Frontpro Side Effects

The most common side effects of Frontpro are mild gastrointestinal effects (vomiting, diarrhea), itching, lethargy, anorexia, and neurological symptoms (seizures, ataxia, and muscle tremors). These side effects have been reported very rarely.
