Milbeguard Duo for dogs
Milbeguard Duo deworming tablets for dogs are suitable for the prevention of heartworm and for the treatment of mixed infections caused by tapeworms, hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, lungworms and heartworms. In addition, Milbeguard Duo is also effective against eyeworms (called Thelazia callipaeda).
Active substances and dosage
One 2,5 mg/25 mg Milbeguard Duo tablet for small dogs and puppies contains:
Milbemycin oxime 2,5 mg
Praziquantel 25 mg
One 12,5 mg/125 mg Milbeguard Duo tablet for dogs contains:
Milbemycin oxime 12,5 mg
Praziquantel 125 mg
One 25 mg/250 mg Milbeguard Duo tablet for large dogs contains:
Milbemycin oxime 25 mg
Praziquantel 250 mg

Administration
Milbeguard Duo tablets should only be administered orally, at the same time as or after eating.
How often should dogs be wormed?
The ESCCAP (European Scientific Counsel Companion Animal Parasites) recommends deworming adult dogs an average of 4 times a year. Puppies should be wormed at 2, 4, 6 and 8 weeks of age, then every month until they are six months old.
